Hello, I have Interactual as well as a Directshow compatible DVD decoder, however my DVD won't play. The title page of the movie appears and when I hit play, I get a pop-up box entitled Error PL4013. Do you know what's wrong?

There have been various issues with this player and users complained about that error as well. Some DVDs have Interactual Player bundled with and then you try to play them, the software is launched instead.
Use VLC Media Player and manually open the DVD then it should play correctly. If you're using other player, then install a set of codecs and avoid using Interactual Player. Users also mentioned that it comes bundled with the Dell laptops.
Installed version 2.0 and it shows an error. Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem. So do I need a different version of InterActual Player to work with Windows 10.

There is no other version of this application, because the official website where it was hosted, doesn't appear to be working anymore. I have checked and search for a version, but it was impossible to acquire one. If you still have the setup package, right-click it and choose Properties > Compatibility. Choose a version that you know it works with the application and then launch it again.
Installed an LG Slim DVD Writer and I am getting message about Interactual Player that is not compatible with Windows 8.1.

Actually, the program has been discontinued from 2008. Any new installation in Windows Vista or higher will result in compatibility errors. However, right click the setup/player's executable and choose Compatibility. Pick Windows XP from the list and then attempt running it again with Administrator access. There isn't anything you can do if it refuses to run properly.
Like it says, for ease of use on plane rides I copied several of my DVD movies onto my hard drive. I'd like to use my InterActual player to play them, but it demands to read from my DVD drive. Therefore, "How can I use my InterActual player to play movies I have on my hard drive?"

This player has not been optimized to play movies from the hard disk. It only detects the DVD-ROM of your computer and it plays them from that location only. The problem is that it plays DVDs that have been optimized for this player. It is something like proprietary DVDs that can be played by one player.
It is very likely that InterActual Player does not support the disc you have inserted because it's either incompatible with the player or the player is lacking necessary codecs to recognize and play the files on the disc.
However, InterActual Player is created to read only certain DVD discs that are encoded in a special way. This could be the main cause that it cannot play the disc. You should contact the developer of the application in case you run into more problems.
When I try to use Interactual Player I get the following message: Known incompatibility issues. An automatic web search says "Windows could not find a solution". I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit.

This player is compatible with Windows XP only and MAC OS. If you have trouble running the application, use the compatibility setting available in Windows Vista. Right click the file and select Properties > Compatibility. Alternatively, contact the developers and explain the situation encountered. I am sure they will help you.
